18 New Deaths and 1,441 New Positive Cases of Confirmed COVID-19 in Los Angeles County
LOS ANGELES, Calif. Nov 11 – The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.
- 1,441 new COVID-19 cases (1,507,736 cases to date)
- 18 new deaths due to COVID-19 (26,814 deaths to date)
- 617 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
- More than 9,207,000 individuals tested; 15% of people tested positive
On November 10, 2021, the California Department of Public Health updated the vaccines administered population denominator to include children between ages 5 and 11 now eligible for vaccination. As a result, the total percentage of the population vaccinated has decreased.
As of November 11, California has confirmed a total of 4,719,596 COVID-19 cases and 72,288 deaths.
