The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19. The case numbers and death reported today may reflect delays in weekend reporting.

1,635 new COVID-19 cases (1,267,860 cases to date)
4 new deaths due to COVID-19 (24,583 deaths to date)
507 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
More than 7,170,000 individuals tested; 16% of all people tested positive

These numbers are subject to change based on further investigation. 2 new cases reported earlier were not in Public Health’s jurisdiction.
