789 New Positive Cases and 22 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County

LOS ANGELES, CA, Mar 26 – The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

789 New COVID-19 cases (2,830,048 cases to date)
Note that 278 additional cases have been added to the cumulative total of positive cases due to a backlog of cases from the surge.
22 New deaths due to COVID-19 (31,594 deaths to date)
373 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
More than 11,660,000 individuals tested; 22% of people tested positive to date
